As an <strong>MSFC- and SMS-certified saddle fitter<\/strong>, I know better than anyone how persistent some myths can be:<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2753 <em>\u201cThe saddle is too tight at the shoulder, so it&#8217;s too narrow.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>\u2753 <em>\u201cAn overly wide saddle you solve with a thick pad.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>\u2753 <em>\u201cA saddle should have no movement at the rear.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>During this evening in Ermelo I will explain to you exactly what you really see when fitting a saddle and what that means for the comfort of your horse.
