The Empire Baroque was developed for round-ribbed, wider horses while still providing the rider with a narrow feel.

Perfect fit for low to medium withers and a rounder topline

The Empire Baroque is built on a saddle tree suitable for horses with low to medium withers. Due to the wide twist and short fit of the saddle, it is suitable for rounder-ribbed horses with a short weight-bearing surface.

The wool-flocked panels are designed for even pressure distribution and feature a wide gullet with space for the spine. The special design ensures optimal pressure distribution across the entire horse’s back, allowing the spine plenty of freedom. As a result, the saddle remains perfectly in place and your horse enjoys significant shoulder freedom. . And by means of the TreeClix system, the tree width can be adjusted in 5 mm increments.

What our customers say

What do our customers say about the Baroque

For my round PRE with some withers anyway, it was difficult to find the right saddle. I myself have short legs and wide sitting is therefore not easy. When I went to test the Empire Baroque, I was pleasantly surprised: the tree gives enough freedom despite its round wide back, and the construction of the seat still allows me to sit easily without feeling so wide, blissful!

For my horse, the wider panel was chosen so that it is also comfortable for him and he can "carry me" more easily. The beautiful brown buffalo leather combined with the brown croc-print patent accents gives it a stunning appearance. Because I do not like large knee roll, a smaller knee roll than the standard was chosen, giving me complete freedom in my seat so I can move freely in my body.

What do our customers say about the Baroque

I have many somewhat wider horses and the Baroque fits perfectly for that. The saddle also has a very nice fit for the rider. It is soft, but you are not trapped in it. Very nice saddle!
