The Empire Maratha was developed for horses with a straighter back that rises towards the rear.

The tree in the Empire Maratha is designed for horses with average wither height, a wide spine, and a straighter back. The Empire Maratha offers the ideal fit for optimal shoulder freedom and comfort during all movements.
The panels have a wide gullet and, because they are wool-flocked, they can be precisely adjusted to your horse’s back. Furthermore, the TreeClix system allows the tree width to be adjusted in 5 mm increments.

I came in contact with Empire Saddles and the TreeClix system a few years ago because I was struggling to find a well-fitting saddle for my horses.
