The Empire Aztec is specially designed for horses with high to very high withers. The shape of the saddle tree, combined with the cushions, makes it easy to create a correct balance point. This gives the horse more room around the withers and more shoulder freedom.
The panels have a wide gullet and because they are filled with wool, they can be accurately adjusted to your horse’s back for optimal pressure distribution and balance. And by means of the TreeClix system the tree size can be adjusted up to 4cm.
For a long time I was looking for a good saddle that was comfortable for myself but most importantly, that was comfortable for my horses. When I first sat down in the Empire saddle it immediately felt very good! You really feel like you sit in the saddle it and you feel connected with your horse.
I have some sensitive horses and they clearly indicate what they like. Since riding with the Empire Aztec, I notice so much difference! Much more looseness and relaxation on the back and no longer wanting to run away from the saddle! That does indicate to me that they like it much better now!!!
This saddle just made the final difference with my horse. Because of the super fit on the horse's back, his topline is so much more beautifully developed. For me, the saddle is also very comfortable.
