On Thursday evening, June 12, during the KNHS Theory Tour, I (Jolanda) get to share my knowledge about common statements surrounding saddle fitting. As an MSFC- and SMS-certified saddle fitter, I know better than anyone how persistent some myths can be:
❓ “The saddle is too tight at the shoulder, so it’s too narrow.”
❓ “An overly wide saddle you solve with a thick pad.”
❓ “A saddle should have no movement at the rear.”
During this evening in Ermelo I will explain to you exactly what you really see when fitting a saddle and what that means for the comfort of your horse. It will be an interactive session unraveling facts and fables and I will take you through my experiences from TreeClix, Empire Saddles and Saddle-Coach.
Location: National Equestrian Center Ermelo
Time: 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Admission: €26.35 for members | €30.35 for non-members (incl. consumption)
50 license points for instructors
